Is your business getting the best pricing for your Electricity and Gas. Are your competitors getting “deregulated” energy at more favorable pricing?
Deregulated energy has been around for over 50 years after a massive blackout in 1965 left 30 million people and businesses without power throughout the northeastern United States and Canada for an extended period. The event prompted the National Electric Reliability Council (NERC) to ensure it never happened again and energy deregulation was initiated. Today 29 states have opened their energy marketplace to alternative suppliers of electricity and/or gas. In Pennsylvania alone over one million residential and commercial users have successfully moved to deregulated energy providers.
